This is one small tip which can help you get better performance on your apple devices (both desktop and mobile).
And the tip is – “Disable/Reduce Transparency”
For OS X, go in System Preferences > Accessibility > Display > Reduce Transparency
For iOS, go in Settings > General > Accessibility > Increase Contrast > Reduce Transparency
I have done this on my Macbook Air and iOS to get better performance and little bit of extra juice on the battery side.
For my iMac, I have transparency enabled because it can handle it well. And mainly because it’s connected to a power source, not a battery 🙂
