I’m currently working on the next TheCuriousEngineer video. And while editing the audio in Adobe Audition, I noticed two PKF files (shown in the image below).
I decided to get rid of them finally as they keep showing up in every project that I do.
PKF is a Peak file created by Adobe Audition, an audio production application. It contains waveform data related to a specific WAV file, and is generated automatically when an audio file is opened or imported.
How to get rid of PKF file?
In Adobe Audition, go to Preferences > Media & Disk Cache > Untick ‘Save Peak Files’
